We humbly submit that the Angel Food Ministry is the most delicious ministry at St. John the Evangelist!
The Angel Food team supports parish ministries in need of volunteer culinary assistance for food services and preparation. Our mission is to have numerous people with many gifts sharing the work while we assist the ministries/ministers of our faith family to spread God's Truth and Love.
How to Get Involved
Regardless of your culinary background, we would love to have you on our team. The Angel Food Core Leaders will meet to discuss all necessary planning, finalize the ideas with the requesting ministry and then put together all aspects of required fare and manage the decorating, preparation, serving, and cleanup. We have a role for you if you like to cook, bake, clean, or just set up events. When a ministry orders our services, we'll call or e-mail you regarding your availability. We currently support no more than one function per month. Each function has a theme, and you'll be given creative license to support the function with a tasty donation of your choosing.
