Italian Club

"La Societa Italiana"

The Italian Club is a social ministry open to ALL parishioners. Our goal is to celebrate Italian heritage and the impact it has on our Catholic faith. Our objectives are to:

• Raise awareness of Italian traditions and how those traditions strengthen our Catholic beliefs.
• Provide a social outlet where individuals can come to enjoy and appreciate Italian music, games, cuisine, the language and all other aspects of the culture.
• Build friendships through monthly meetings and planned special events.
• Participate as a ministry in various Parish activities.

MEETINGS are held the 4th Friday of every month at 7:00 PM in the Panel Room, unless otherwise announced. Please view the online parish calendar for current meeting dates, times and locations.

YEARLY ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

JANUARY
Potluck Dinner! Members get to bring their favorite entrÈe, dessert and wine to share. Together we celebrate the new year "Italian Style."

FEBRUARY
Let us make your reservation for a St. Valentine's Day Italian Feast. Members meet at a designated restaurant for a fun filled evening.

MARCH
Help us celebrate St. Joseph's Day. Members organize and help to continue this Italian tradition at St. John the Evangelist Parish. The event is highlighted by a home cooked Italian Feast, wine and desserts, desserts, desserts!

MAY
Pizza party! This is a great opportunity for members to socialize and build lasting friendships.

JULY
SJE Festival. Members volunteer their time to help out with the food booths and other festival activities.

SEPTEMBER
Anniversary Celebration! Help us celebrate the anniversary of the Italian Club's establishment (EST. 2005). Dinner and refreshments served.
