Medical Supply Ministry
Medical Supply Ministry works in partnership with Children of Abraham, Inc. to sort, inventory and pack medical supplies and equipment to people in underserved countries throughout the world. The Medical Supply Ministry team members assist with packing container shipments at the Children of Abraham warehouse approximately once per month, united with people from other faiths and other communities.
During 2008, the Medical Supply Drive supported St. John the Evangelist’s two Dominican Republic Missions: Medical Mission and Dental Mission by soliciting medical donations from parishioners in the health care field and local health care facilities. The Medical Supply Ministry team assisted our parish’s seventh Katrina Relief Mission to New Orleans in March 2008 by selecting and packing inventory items to meet the needs of the free health clinic in the 9th Ward.
Faith Without Borders ministries are open to people of all faiths, those without any church affiliation, as well as to people of all communities and states.
