Grocery Bag Day Ministry
 Grocery Bag Day is a ministry of SJE's Peace and Social Justice Commission. We hold two drives annually to collect donations for our SJE St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, The Northwest Indiana Food Bank, St. Edward's Migrant Ministry Food Pantry, St. Joseph's Helping Hands and other local organizations. Bags and suggested donation lists are distributed after Mass and collected the following weekend.

Opportunities to Get Involved
- Distribute bags and donation lists after Mass
- Sort donations and load delivery trucks
- Deliver and unload trucks at food pantries
- Offer monetary donations to supplement grocery donations
