LINKS Ministry

LINKS is a social and spiritual support ministry for widows and widowers. No one can understand better what it is to lose a spouse than someone who has already been through it. We come together to give each other encouragement, advice, and friendship as we embark on the next journey in our lives. Through our monthly meetings, we exchange experiences, laugh, cry, and just be there for one another. Currently we are working on a prayer blanket project to try to give comfort to those who are facing serious illnesses. By giving something back, we focus on others, which helps to make our lives more rewarding.

Some of the activities of the LINKS ministry include going out to dinner, going to plays or just meeting for conversation. We are always looking for suggestions for new adventures!

We meet the second Saturday of each month in the Panel Room at 6:00 PM. Anyone who has lost a spouse is welcome to attend.
