From a little acorn, a mighty tree can grow!
Mighty Acorns
is the SJE Youth Ministry Program for children in Kindergarten and 1st
grade. Mighty Acorns offers a fun, faith-filled environment where kindergartners and
1st graders can gather and begin to make those friendships that will last
through their elementary years and beyond.
Mighty Acorns gatherings feature themed activities, such as, crafts, stories, songs, games and snacks that help them better understand and live their Catholic faith. Past programs have focused on the story of Noah and the Ark, the Holy Trinity, Christmas, Easter and the Resurrection, Stations of the Cross and the Holy Rosary.

How to Get Involved
Mighty Acorns meet on the 1st Friday of the month from 6:30-7:45

Schedule for the specific location of each event. (Note:
This program only meets during the school year.) A $2 fee is charged for each child to help defray the cost of the event. We are always looking
for Virtus-trained adults to volunteer as well.
