We all seek Truth. We all seek God!
Seekers is the SJE Youth Ministry Program is for
our 2nd & 3rd grade students. Following our model of a "Continuum
of Care", Seekers stresses the importance of positive interaction
and a Christ-centered environment. As these students prepare for
First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, the Seekers Program
offers additional catechesis and fun outside the classroom!

How to Get Involved
Seekers meet on the 1st Friday of the month from 6:30-7:45

This program only meets during the school year.) We are always looking
for Virtus-trained adults to volunteer as well.

Ministry Goal
To strive to bring the youth of St. John the Evangelist Parish into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through increased participation in the Youth Ministry Program.
Objectives
- We will create an environment where 2nd and 3rd grade students can interact with one another in a Christ centered environment.
- We will teach the importance and meaning of the integral Sacraments of First Holy Communion and Reconciliation, as our students prepare to receive them.
